The Class of ’70 Scholarship Fund was established to be split between two students pursuing post-secondary education: one academic (university) and one vocational/technical education.  It is awarded primarily based on financial need, but entrusted to a student demonstrating the likelihood for success if given the chance.

This scholarship is meaningful to the class of 1970 and donations were made in recognition of an individual who helped us along the way of life: a favorite teacher, a coach, or perhaps a classmate or our first boss. This scholarship is meant to be a hand-up, not a handout, because at some point in our lives there were people who provided each of us a hand-up.
