The Alma Hayes Memorial Scholarship was formed from the estate of Alma Hayes in 1998. Mr. Hayes was an illustrator at Rocky Mountain Laboratory, and both Mr. and Mrs. Hayes were artists in various media: sculpting, water color, drawing, painting, and woodworking. Mrs. Hayes was also a Girl Scout leader. This scholarship is awarded to a Hamilton High School graduate who plans to pursue a degree in the arts.
